Ability to request and approve is role based. The roles users have and the units they belong to determine what roles can be requested and who needs to approve.

Approvals are configured in templates, which are connected to roles and enforced in the process of authorizing. Templates are role based and the BHOLD Administration continuously provides an up to date reflection of users and their roles. This information is used by the BHOLD Approval module as to determine who the user is that, at the moment of a request, has the relevant role to approve.

Each of the BHOLD Request & Approval products works as a webservice on top of the BHOLD Administration. Request and Approval requirements are enforced through role based templates that use the BHOLD Administration as a reference to determine who has the role at the moment of request that is required to approve.

Each service can be accessed by any standard browser. Using or managing the Request & Approval products involves modeling – no programming.

The BHOLD Request & Approval products can be deployed as an integral part of the BHOLD Administration and require no specific platform extensions.
