BHOLD Governance, the group of products that facilitates and optimizes the 3 main authorization processes:

1. business driven role-request and approval
2. policy and rule driven model management and
3. compliance driven reporting and auditing.

Reporting
BHOLD Reporting provides standard reports, layman and specialized report creation designed to meet any reporting requirement.

Attestation
BHOLD Attestation Manager controls the process of regular management approval of granted authorizations.

Cross Reference
BHOLD Cross Reference Manager enables cross or inter company Authorization Management.

Auditing
BHOLD Auditor reconciles required authorization settings in the BHOLD Administration with actual settings in target systems.
The BHOLD Administration essentially contains a continuously up to date administration of the authorization settings as required by the business. This administration is leading over authorization settings in target systems. The BHOLD Auditor regularly checks consistency between required and actual settings. In the event settings in target systems cannot be traced back to the required settings in BHOLD, the BHOLD Auditor will alert or immediate re-enforce required settings automatically if necessary.

BHOLD Logging
BHOLD Logging for immediate insight in the history of any object in the model providing the perfect immediate answer to WHY-access-rights-have-been-granted-questions.

Life Cycle Management
BHOLD Model Life Cycle Manager allows Security Administrators to execute major changes in their role based model in accordance with change management procedures from development to production. BHOLD MLCM supports impact analysis, a capability that will structurally enhance the communication between Security Administration and its stakeholders.

Each of the BHOLD Governance products works as a webservice on top of the BHOLD Administration. Approval and attestation requirements are enforced through role based templates that use the BHOLD Administration as a reference to determine who has the role at the moment of request that is required to approve or attest.

Each service can be accessed by any standard browser. Using or managing the Governance products requires modeling – no programming.

The BHOLD Auditor capability can be used in an off-line mode and is a standard feature of any BHOLD Connector.

The BHOLD Governance products can be deployed as an integral part of the BHOLD Administration and require no specific platform extensions.
